FAQ: FAQ
  • HOW DO I BECOME A PATIENT?
We try to make this process as easy as possible for you. Here are two ways to get the process started: 1. You may call your primary care physician and have them fax your referral over directly to 830-310-7901 via our HIPPA compliant fax system. If you already have a referral you may scan and email to chris.webb@NBmobilePT.com. 2. You may also call us at 830-837-2777 and we can take the necessary steps to get you started.
  • WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?
We currently accept Medicare, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, United Health Care Medicare Advangtage plans, and Molina Healthcare. We are out-of-network with Aetna and Cigna, but their Medicare Advantage plans typically have reasonable out-of-network co-pays. We are constantly negotiating with insurance companies so if you don't see your insurance give us a call. We also have a "Cash Pay" option. You will be responsible for the full amount at the time of service and qualify for use of your HSA account. Depending on your insurance plan you may be reimbursed per your individual insurance plan policy.
  • WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MOBILE PT AND HOME HEALTH PT?
New Braunfels Mobile PT is a service providing outpatient PT to your home. Your PT implements advanced manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, and functional balance training to improve your functional mobility and/or pain. You will be billed as you would going to an outpatient clinic(Medicare Part B). Home health PT is billed through Medicare Part A, and requires the patient to be homebound. Home health is meant for those who just came out of the hospital or need low level exercise and balance. Read More
  • DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?
Most insurance plans require a physician referall for reimbursement. We can take care of that for you, or you can contact your doctor's office and have them fax a referral to us. If you are cash pay you will not need a referral for the first 2 weeks of care.
  • WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU BRING?
Everything you will need will be supplied by your PT, which includes most equipment you will find in an outpatient clinic. This will include a treatment table or exercise mat for exercises, electrical stimulation machine and pads, moist heating pad, acupuncture needles and electro-DN machine, blood flow restriction cuffs, cupping supplies, ankle weights, dumbbells, exercise balls, resistance tubing, and supplies for balance training.
  • WHAT IS YOUR COVERAGE AREA?
We serve the Greater New Braunfels area including Canyon Lake, San Marcos, Garden Ridge, Schertz, Selma, Seguin, Cibolo, Bulverde/Spring Branch and parts of Northern San Antonio. Look at our coverage map HERE.
  • CAN YOU COME TO MY WORK OR OFFICE?
Yes. We can come to you whether it be at your work or home. If coming to your work office we will need to get written permission from your supervisor. There must be a private or semi-private room roughly 10'x10'. We will discuss the environment prior to coming out to make sure it will work.
